I enjoy the comfort and restful peace brought by the fact that my children are also truly children of the Father. Though I am certainly defective as a father to my children, they have a perfect Father that MORE than makes up for my shortcomings, defects, sins, poor example and lack of godly wisdom in parenting.
So, have I failed as a parent, (how often do you hear that said?): YES.
