How many times do our fears get disappointed when we assume the worst?
Assuming the worst seems to be connected to our
culture of stress. Sometimes the worst happens, but that's not the rule. We assume that things have gone, or will go, horribly wrong so easily that we become easily manipulated by a whole gamut of people from a salesman to a powerful politician. Besides that, we shorten our own lives and ruin our health by living under the stress of these self-generated fears.
Beware of giving an opening to those who would take advantage of you, including your enemy(ies). Beware of the self destruction that you are taking upon yourself.
