Where was God?

How often do you hear someone ask, "Where was God when...(insert a tragic event or shocking injustice here)...happened?"

The answer is in Proverbs:
"The foolishness of man subverts his way [ruins his affairs]; then his heart is resentful and frets against the Lord." 19:3

If someone asks the "Where was God..." question, they are not asking the right question. All material is held together by the word of His power. If He were absent, all material as we know it would cease to exist. He, of course, was there; pursuing the humans He created; desiring them to come to Him to bask in His love.

The question should be, "When will man seek the wisdom of God instead of repeatedly pursuing his own way to godless failure?"
