We expect:
- Someone to be experienced enough to know better
- Someone to know that they don't treat my kids that way
- Someone to know that I don't think the same, (silly), way that they think
- Someone to remember that I've told them dozens of times already
- Someone should be able to execute a certain duty by now
- Someone should be able to think like me or see what it's like to be me
- Someone should be encouraged when I "exhort" them
- Someone, being a believer, wouldn't act that way
Yes, unmet expectations are certainly one big step in the direction of anger. However, the experts missed Step #1: Pride
