Satan talks to God about Job. He says, "But put forth Your hand now and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face."
We tend to focus on the potential for failure.
How many times do we fall in with naysayers who say no good can come of this and we start to doubt?
We tend to doubt the power of Him in someone.
How many times would we say there will be failure because we can see certain characteristics in someone?
Why do we leave out - "But God,..."?
Then Job arose and rent his robe and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worshiped... "blessed be the name of the Lord!"
But God:
had mercy...
